In our group website, my tasks is about past events and upcoming events in Istana Budaya.. I used dreamweaver and photoshop to make it. This is the results after i had finish it in 4 days.. ==!

E-Wallpaper

As we all in the same boat, we know that we need to do an e-wallpaper for our

assignment 1 which is about FOM for MMU Open Day on 21st March 2012. As a result, this is my e-wallpaper. As my main idea, i just put some of the FOM picture, a tagline, date when is MMU Open Day, info to contact and a MMU mascot.. :) Now, i will tell u guys step by step process of creating this e-wallpaper..

-STEP 1-

Create an A4 sized document. Set the resolution to 72 pixels/inch. Width: 210mm and height: 297mm (portrait). Then, I made the background layer by choosing the color and set effect inner glow, bevel and emboss, color overlay, gradient overlay and the last one is stroke.

-STEP 2-

Now, i created a new layer for the typography. I used the Playbill font for the word "FOM" in my wallpaper using the Horizontal Type Tool(H) and I set its size to 30pt.The typography was then positioned on center of my wallpaper. Then i used effect stroke and filter stylize wind effect on it.

-STEP 3-

Then, i created another new layer and added another text using the Horizontal Type Tool(H) again,to add "Faculty of Management" using playbill font and 3o pt.

-STEP 4-

Under Faculty of Management, like before..i add some more text still using

Horizontal Type Tool(H) to add "Multimedia University". Font Playbill 30 pt.

-STEP 5-

After that, i put information about phone number to contact using Horizontal Type Tool(H) using Viner hand ITC font 18 pt and color orange a bit..^^

-STEP 6-

Same like step 5..only i change font to DokChampa to add link for FOM.

-STEP 7-

To add "-Open Day-" text, it is a bit difference from before. I am using the Vertical Type Tool to make it vertically displayed. Then by adding effect drop shadow, bevel and emboss, satin and change it filter to stylize wind..it became like that. :)

-STEP 8-

For this step, i add another layer to put MMU logo. When i add MMU logo..i change it opacity to 14%. Then to make it like flag blown by wind, i used edit > transform > skew..haha..:)

-STEP 9-

Next, for this step until step 12..i apply the same process to make it which is i opened the image related to FOM that I downloaded from the Internet. Since the image was only rectangular, i change it by edit > transform > distort..to make it more interesting. ^^ Besides that, i also put effect inner glow and stroke to the 1st picture and change it opacity to 85%

-STEP 10-

Same like step 9, i only distort the 2nd picture and put effect bevel and emboss only. I also change it opacity to 84%

-STEP 11-

In this step, i distort the 3rd picture and put effect stroke plus it opacity i change it to 80%.

-STEP 12-

Then for the 4th picture, like before..i just distort it and put the effect of stroke and outer glow plus change it opacity to 79%.

-STEP 13-

For the MMU mascot image, I downloaded from the Internet and open it. Actually it comes with others picture. To take only the bee, i used magnetic lasso tool and paste it at the bottom right of my e-wallpaper.

-STEP 14-

For this step, i only make an adjustments for vibrance to make my e-wallpaper to look brighter. The reason for me to make an adjustment because the image has very low quality in which the colors, brightness and saturation wasn't good enough. After the adjustments, the picture, logo and MMU mascot looked brighter and much better as shown above. :)

-STEP 15-

Then, i just make my own tagline for student who wanted to take the course which is FOM can "Improve Your Managerial Skill!!". ^^ I only using Horizontal Type Tool and edit transform to rotate it. Furthermore, i also add effect drop shadow and outer glow.

-STEP 16-

For the last step, i forgot to put the date for MMU Open Day..^^ so, by using Vertical Type Tool..i add "21 March 12" due to the date of MMU Open Day. Same like before, i also put effect inner glow and stroke.

After 2 hours, My e-wallpaper is now complete and I'm just satisfied with the results although it is not awesome because i am newbie in photoshop.. :) Btw, this means i already finish 1 of my Digital Media assignment. Yezzzza~!!

Hey guys! Welcome to my simple blog. This is my 1st time and the last time to have a blog.. :) The main purpose of this blog is to share all my experiences and the processes of my Digital Media assignments..btw, i'm so sorry because there isn't any link that i attach or whatever information about Photoshop or Dreamweaver in this blog. The reason is i am newbie in Photoshop or Dreamweaver..still learning from the root ~ ^^
